Racking Inspection
Racking inspection involves assessing pallet racking systems for damage, deformation, and design compliance with Australian Standards. This is a vital part of your organisation's risk management schedule, helping to identify structural risks, prevent collapse or load failure, and ensure your racking remains safe, stable, and fit for use.

1
Site Review & Racking Identification
We begin by reviewing your warehouse or storage facility and identifying all pallet racking systems in use. This includes assessing racking configuration, load ratings, beam levels, and operational factors such as forklift traffic, aisle widths, and storage practices. Environmental conditions and usage patterns are also considered to ensure inspections reflect how the racking is actually used, not just how it was designed.

2
Detailed Structural Inspection
Each racking system is inspected in accordance with the requirements defined in the Australian Standards to identify risks such as damage, deformation, corrosion, or missing components. Uprights, beams, connectors, anchors, bracing, signage, and safety accessories are checked for compliance and structural integrity. Damage is classified by severity to prioritise corrective action, and unsafe racking is clearly identified to prevent further damage or risk of collapse, product damage, or injury to your workers.

3
Reporting & Compliance Documentation
Following a HSEA inspection, you'll be provided with a detailed report on the condition, classification, and any corrective actions required to make your racking safe. Reports are provided in compliance with Australian Standards and WHS obligations, supporting evidence during audits, for insurance requirements, and regulatory inspections. Our reporting focuses on risk and consequence, and proving regulatory requirements. Our reports focus on risk management, not just compliance, enabling you to make informed operational decisions when managing your warehouse.
4
Ongoing Compliance & Support
As part of our full-cycle HSE and compliance approach, we provide ongoing inspections, scheduled around your operations. We can service you after-hours to minimise disruption. While we're on site, we can inspect and test your electrical leads, as well as portable ladders, first aid kits, fire extinguishers, and other items relevant to racking safety. Talk to our team about how we can provide you with the support you need to ensure racking safety in your organisation.
